A NADRA spokesperson told the media that the registration process was underway in full swing. He added that the federal institution had already received 1.4 million applications from across the country.

Moreover, the authority continues to entertain applications at its e-sahulat centres as well through its website. Both domestic and overseas Pakistanis who want to avail this registration facility can apply online without making any additional fee payment.

Similarly, the residents of Karachi can get themselves registered for the NPHP project at the Defence Housing Authority (DHA), Liaquatabad and North Nazimabad facilitation centres.

Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan had initiated the second phase of the countrywide NPHP registration process in July this year. He had announced that the cabinet would approve laws for the banks with an aim to facilitate the provision of housing loans to the society’s low and middle-income segments.
